The National AV Team has been working on testing a new WiFi Live Translation System (WLTS) to stream audio over WiFi network straight to Mahatmas Smartphones. With the free VLC app available for both Android and Apple devices, Mahatmas can use their own device to listen to Satsangs.
We would like to encourage all the Mahatmas that will require translation to complete Steps 1 and 2 (found in the attachment) prior to arriving at the Satsang venue for a smooth and an efficient experience.
Don’t forget to fully charge your smartphones and your bluetooth headphones.
Now you can listen to live translation on your own Android and iOS smartphone or tablet over WiFi - no need to carry FM radio anymore!
This Wi-FI Live Translation System takes real time audio and streams it over Wi-Fi to connected Android and iOS smart-devices.
This system will also help Mahatmas with hearing loss hear better by amplifying the sound and filtering out noise. They are able to listen at the louder volumes they need, without disturbing others around them.
Step 1: Make sure your smartphone is fully charged. If you have bluetooth headphones, make sure to bring them with you to each session fully charged as well.
Step 2: Install the VLC application from Apple App Store or from Google Play Store before attending the Satsang. This step only needs to be done once prior to the first session.
