FM Translation - Regions and Gurupurnima within North America 

This year, translation services will be available exclusively via FM radio. To access the translation, listeners will need a radio that supports frequencies below 88.0 MHz, along with headphones.

If listeners don't have their own radio, they can rent one from the Translation Desk by providing a $20 cash deposit, which will be refunded upon return of the radio. Headphones will be available for purchase at $1 each.

During the program, if the battery of a rental radio runs low, it can be exchanged for a charged one at the Translation Desk. The frequencies for each language will be provided at the venue.

Note: 

If a listener does not have cash, the center or GP team may decide to provide the rental radio without a deposit. However, the center or GP team will be responsible for any lost radios to maintain the national inventory.

Headphones that are given out or sold cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. The center or GP team must report the total number of headphones distributed or sold to the AV National team. Each pair of headphones costs $1. The center or GP team can either cover this cost and provide the headphones free of charge or sell them for $1 each.
